At James Bryan Opticians we are on hand
to help you with any minor eye problems you may have.
Our Minor Eye Condition Service also known as MECS starts with a brief triage before treatment is provided.
It is an NHS service provided by accredited optometrists
(also commonly called opticians).

Who can use this service?
Minor eye conditions can affect people of all ages.
Please be advised that children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. You do not need a GP referral to use this service.
If you or somebody you know requires MECS we are here to help! Call us on 01245 357 766 or pop into practice to be triaged.
We hope that by assisting you we can do our part in helping both the community and the NHS.
